Future Merc Suggestions

Hi,

I am creating this topic in order to get suggestions from the players for mercenary gameplay and what would you like to see added/removed and how we can improve it. Everything related to the latest mercenary updates is welcome. Feedback appreciated.

While in grip, sucessfull flame thrower use will prevent sith/grey from use grip for 6 seconds

Make sniper a heavy weapon for reduced movement speed and have it be unblockable on alt fire unless they crouch. heavy makes it harder to strafe away and unblockable on alt fire makes it fill the role of a long range damage weapon.

Attn: this is my general opinion and no numbers or spefic details.
merc shouldnt be a tank tbh.
make it the "mobility" class.
Examples:
100/100 hp
Increase general movement speed.
Make stun button easily available anytime.
Grip should only last a second and shouldnt freeze the merc for a second like normal shortgrips.
I have no experience with weapons and how many dmg they deal, so i have no clue how to adjust them on this playstyle.
but when a force user catches a merc and is able to hit him it should be lethal.
Make it the hard to catch/mobility class.
Thats my general opinion on how mercenery should look like.

merc got reduced to 150/150 last update and imo that is enough. any lower and noprof actually becomes better

Please for the love of god don't nerf the crossbow as it is right now.

While it looks like an instant 1hit deathbutton it is still only viable at really close range but imo that should be the case for a shotgun weapon. The damage may be tweaked so that only headshots deal full damage though.

I like that we finally see different weapons beside the usual explosive spam. The crossbow was already improved by fixing its spread pattern to a controlled one before but now I feel it is quite perfect.

To add to this: I like the idea that projectiles do more damage the higher the distance. Somehow I still cant pistol snipe someone, which should be possible imo.

Yes crossbow is now kinda the reason to play merc for me. It feels really cool and fun. Thanks for doing it like this.
